About Clarissa
Clarissa has been dancing her whole life, inspired by her Brazilian roots and immersed in Samba, Forró, and other Brazilian rhythms. She also has a foundation in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and capoeira, which have shaped her dynamic and expressive movement style.

She studied Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Waterloo, where she expanded her knowledge of dance through research, performance, and the study of Latin styles such as Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk. Clarissa has performed at dance congresses, explored diverse cultural dance traditions through travel, and had the honor of performing Samba at the Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro.

Today, she is passionate about creating welcoming, family-friendly Latin dance experiences through classes for adults, children, and babies. Latin Soul Dance Simcoe is dedicated to bringing the excitement of Latin Culture to the Simcoe community.
